El artista Ernesto Ventós permite estos días conocer parte de su colección de piezas e imágenes relacionadas con el sentido del olfato, en su Exposición "La emoción de oler el arte", en el Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona.

The artista Ernesto Ventós allows nowadays to know part of his collection of pieces and images related to the smell sense, in his Exhibition "The emotion of smelling art", in Reial Cercle Artístic in Barcelona.

A la originalidad de las piezas se une otra idea innovadora, y es que ha organizado cinco catas olfativas, todas ellas a cargo de expertos, que giran alrededor de distintas materias: café, vino, esencias, aceite y los perfumes en la cocina del Celler de Can Roca.

Besides the originality of the pieces, there is another innovative idea, that is they have organized five olfactory workshops, in charge of experts, around different subjects: coffee, wine, essences, oil and perfums in the famous Celler de Can Roca.

Ayer tuvo lugar la primera de ellas, dedicada al café, y con gusto escuché la extensa explicación sobre el proceso desde su recolección al tueste, y la cata que vino después, donde pudimos olfatear y saborear el café en sus distintas etapas.

Yesterday it took place the first one, dedicated to coffee, and I gratefully listened to the wide explanation about the process from its harvest to the toast, and the after tasting where we could smell and taste the coffee in that different stages.

Todos los amantes del café que asistimos a la conferencia disfrutamos de esa experiencia única, bajo una perfecta organización, y en un entorno tan especial. Seguro que las siguientes serán tan exitosas como la primera.

All coffee lovers who atended the speech enjoyed so much that unique experience, perfectly organized, in an special spot. I am sure the next workshops will be as successful as the first one.
