Para sujetar las flores, utilizamos una malla de gallinero. La cortamos a una medida un poco mayor que la abertura del recipiente y con cuidado la colocamos para que quede bien sujeta. Los floristas usan una especie de blutack especial para flores para que la malla no se mueva (pues a veces se mueve a medida que se colocan flores), aunque es algo que no sueles tener en casa.

To hold the flowers, use chicken wire. We cut a piece bigger than the rim of the vase and carefully place it. Florists use floral putty to attach the chicken wire, to avoid it moves (as it does while flowers are placed), although it is something you do not usually have at home.

Rellenamos el recipiente tres cuartos de agua fresca. Empezamos por el verde, la rama de magnolio será la pieza más alta, y la otra hoja sobresale por delante. Siempre recortar los tallos antes de colocarlos en el recipiente.

Fill three-quarters full with water. Start with greenary, the branch will be the tallest piece, and the other big leaf will hang over the edge. Always trim the stems before place them in the container.

Seguimos con las flores más grandes, las calas, todas agrupadas en un extremo, salvo una que reservamos para el otro lado y así equilibrarlas. 

Next, it is time for the biggest flowers, callas, all gathered in one side, unless one we reserve for the other side, to balance.

Luego sólo queda ir colocando lo amarillo. Los tulipanes, repartidos por todo el centro, siguiendo su propia curvatura, y las freesias más hacia los costados, como si salieran del centro.

Finally, add yellow flowers. Tulips, all over the vase, following the way they naturally fall, and freesias to the sides, hanging over the vase.

Siempre hay que ir vigilando que el centro queda bien cubierto de flores por todos los lados. 

Always take a look at the final centerpiece, to ensure it is all good covered by flowers, from all sides.
